The Real Estate Council PAC interviewed candidates for Dallas City Council and Dallas ISD Board of Trustees for the May 11 Joint Election. After thorough consideration, the organization made the following endorsements in contested races. Election results are:

District 5 - Rickey Callahan ELECTED IN RUNOFF

District 7 - Carolyn Davis elected                       
District 8 - Tennell Atkins Elected                         
District 11 - Lee Kleinman elected
District 13 - Jennifer Staubach Gates elected
District 14 - Bobby Abtahi Philip Kingston ELECTED IN RUNOFF
 
DISD School Board OF Trustees
District 4 - Nancy Bingham elected                     
District 5 - Lew Blackburn elected                      
District 7 - Eric Cowan elected

The PAC also recommended voting YES on Propositions 1 and 2 to authorize the sale of 25 acres of Joey Georgusis Park and to authorize the sale of Elgin Robertson Park. both propositions passed  learn more
