The Young Guns select a Foundation Project every year. This year the Young Guns will partner with The Stewpot to create an outdoor community garden that will teach 500 children and provide clients with opportunities for employment as well as healthy meals. Subcommittees include Fundraising, Design, Marketing/Photo/Video, Volunteer Days and Volunteer Logistics Team.
The event of the year for Young Guns membership! A party hosted by the Young Guns Core Committee to help raise funds for the annual Foundation Project. Casino Night brings together an average of 300 young professionals for a night of fun and a good cause. Committee: Responsible for securing sponsorships, in-kind donations, raffle prizes and encouraging ticket sales.
Forum is a unique event highlighting a specific topic pertaining to what is going on in Dallas. The Forum event hosts a lineup of educated speakers who represent the topic. Young Guns members are offered the opportunity to learn about something they might not be familiar with and find out who the key players are as it relates to the topic. The event is hosted at a venue that highlights the subject and allows for more than 100 attendees. Committee: Select a topic, coordinate speakers and plan the event. Additionally each committee member must secure sponsorships to pay for the event.
VIEW FROM THE TOP
An elite opportunity for Young Guns to sit and discuss relevant topics with leading executives from the commercial real estate industry in an intimate roundtable setting. Committee: Responsible for making speaker asks, securing sponsorships, and encouraging ticket sales.
A unique, members-only event that focuses on educating Young Guns on current real estate development in the Dallas Area. The event begins with an overview of an active development, generally in the form of a presentation by the developer, followed by a construction site tour, and concluding with networking at a venue near the tour site. About Town is an excellent way to preview local development while networking with fellow Young Guns.
